M.A.D. Industries was started by Mathew Dickerson on 4 December 1989. The name is now different but the passion for technology and service has remained across those entire thirty years.

The official 30th anniversary occurred on 4 December 2019 but the party will be on Saturday 15 February 2020

Visit axxis in Dubbo Square on that day to see a live radio broadcast from the event and be a part of the celebration with prizes, giveaways and special guest Dr Karl Kruszelnicki making an appearance between 10am - 2pm. There will be a cake cutting ceremony at 11am with well-known local resident Daryl Coxon performing the inaugural slicing of the cake. Mathew credit Daryl with the initial idea of selling mobile phones back in 1989.
