The Voice of Dubbo Business

The Dubbo Business Chamber (Dubbo Chamber) is a Not For Profit organisation working to represent the interests of business and to provide opportunities for business within the Dubbo community. Our goal being to build and maintain a vibrant and healthy local economy.

Dubbo Chamber is one of the oldest and largest Chambers in Regional NSW. 

Dubbo Chamber has no political affiliations. We are a self-funded, voluntary partnership made up of business and professional people working together to build a vibrant local economy for those who live and work in Dubbo and the surrounding centres.

Who Can Be A Member of the Dubbo Chamber?

Dubbo Chamber welcomes all individuals and businesses that have an interest in the local Dubbo business community. Chamber draws its membership from businesses large and small from all industry sectors across the region.

Under the Association Rules, application for membership is open to those who accept the objects and rules of the Association and consideration by the Board. Current membership ranges from large manufacturing business, home based business and individuals.

The membership year runs from January to December, with subscriptions renewed at the beginning of the calendar year.

What are the Objectives of the Dubbo Chamber?

The Dubbo Chamber works to improve the overall business opportunities in our local community, whilst keeping the following broad objectives in mind:

  • To advise and assist local business to prosper and grow.
  • To be the "Voice of Dubbo Business" in matters relating to local, state and federal government policy formulation and implementation.
  • To increase job opportunities.
  • To contribute to the overall stability of the community.
  • To encourage and assist community organisations.
  • To provide a primary point of contact to facilitate discussion, review and enquiry.

Who Leads the Dubbo Chamber?

Our members run the Dubbo Chamber, each year at the AGM they elect a Board to manage the association, set goals and determine policies. The Board in turn elects an executive of office bearers. The Board meet on the third Monday of each month.

Dubbo Chamber Strategic Plan

In the 2009, Dubbo Chamber of Commerce and Industry developed a Strategic Plan to guide future chamber activities and directions.

Our strategic plan is currently being reviewed.
