2014 Board, Your Dubbo, Time to Breakfast

A belated Happy New Year and welcome to 2014 - welcome to our first members Newsletter for the year.

The Chamber Board has a few new faces this year and a lot more people sharing the load and new responsibilities. I’ve (Michael Quinn) taken over the responsibilities of the Website and Newsletter for this year.

We have been a bit quiet on the “outside” but probably never busier on the inside as the new board members get up to speed and a few handovers and training take place.

My hope to make the Newsletter a regular thing again. The goal at the moment is twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, with some other reminders for breakfasts and events as needed.

Enough chat - LOADS to cover in this first blast. That’s why it’s an extra one this week.


2014 Dubbo Chamber Board

Back in December at the AGM, our new Board and Executive was elected for 2014. In 2014, there are quite a few new portfolios created so the workload is placed on many, rather than just a few. Each board member is either responsible for their portfolio, or a member of a few committees helping others. In the two months since Christmas, this seems to be working pretty well.
